Features

• The table is driven by steel gears with 12 speed changes and rapid feed for quick positioning of the work piece.
• For safety, all control switches are wired low voltage (24V). For operator's convenience control panel swivels on a swing arm.
• The Spindle is made from one piece of Ni-Cr alloy steel and supported by three precision angular contact and one ball bearing to ensure rigidity. The inner taper surface is induction hardened and precision ground to ensure durability. The spindle inner taper runout remains within 0.002mm.
• All the gears that drive the horizontal spindle system are made of alloy steel, precision ground and hardened for heavy cutting and smooth quiet operation. The automatic lubrication system keeps the gears continuously lubricated. The 5HP drive motor with 6 speed changes offers high torque cutting in a wide range of speeds.
• The ram adapter is designed with 8 T-bolts clamping system that allows the large vertical head to be tilted at all angles including front and back. This structure greatly increases the versatility of the machine.
• To ensure smooth operation, eliminate noise and vibration in the vertical head under high speed, the inside shaft of the vari-disc is treated with HD polymer using a patented process.
• The knee and saddle constructed with a box way design to ensure stability. Cross ways are hardened and ground for long lasting wear. Bed ways are treated with a Turcite-B coating which has excellent oil retention properties and a high resistance to wear.
• To maintain the tension on both the longitudinal and cross leadscrews, the nuts and leadscrew are adjustable for periodic backlash adjustments.
