The President, a tool and die maker by trade, immigrated from Germany and established his own successful mold and machine shop business.

Re-established as a metal working machine tool distributor on Britannia Road in Mississauga, Ontario. Their son joined the husband and wife team. In the 4000sqft facility 40% of the area was used for tool and die work as well as testing new machine lines and 60% was used for showroom, sales, service, parts and warehouse.

Business grew and re-located to larger premises at 6030 Kestrel Road in Mississauga, Ontario. In the now quadrupled 16000sqft facility, 20% of the area was still used for some tool and die work as well as testing new machines and 80% was used for showroom, sales, service, parts and warehouse. Heinman Machinery a family owned and operated business consisting of a husband and wife team, son and joined by three daughters was well underway establishing honorable long term relationships with its suppliers. Representing reputable brand lines such as First, Dah Lih, Kao Ming, Chevalier, KaoFong/ Fortworth, Sure First, Chien Yeh/Microweily, ChingYih/Michaellin and Baxter.

With great success introduced Dah Lih and First CNC Vertical Machining Centers to the market.

To further meet customers’ project requirements, introduced Chevalier
CNC Lathes to the market.

Due to spiraling business demands larger premises were required and the company moved further down the road to 6105 Kestrel Road. The new facility, twice as large, encompassed 35000sqft and Heinman Machinery became strictly a metal working machine tool distributor.

To accommodate a CNC showroom an expansion to the existing facilities was eminent. With the 34% expansion to 47000sqft, an area of 15000sqft was strictly dedicated to a showroom exhibiting the
complete lines of conventional tool room machinery and CNC machines all under power for demonstration purposes.

Hosted an open house celebrating the expansion and introduced Kao Ming’s new Double Column Machining Center.

Launched the first Heinman Machinery web site.
